Define Supernatural: (of a manifestation or event) attributed to some force beyond scientific understanding, or the laws of nature.
We serve a supernatural, holy God. Originally man was one with the supernatural God, able to walk and talk with Him and to be in His presence.
Thus, when man fell, there had to be a way created to redeem that carnal (natural) man who had become sin-laden flesh. He needed to be returned to his supernatural status and position in the presence of his Father, God.
Ever since the partaking of sin in the garden people have been infused with self-interest, desiring to control everything about themselves, having evil ideas and pride. However, it is in humility and yielding to Father God that we receive His Supernatural Holy Spirit connection.
Interestingly, it is the Truth of the Word of God that explains to us how Jesus gave us the Way, and His way is a way of Life to all that find Him.
Jesus said, in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
As the Remnant we must have a renewed mind. We need our thinking to be made new by the indwelling of the Spirit of our Living God. Our new mind understands the things that are spiritually discerned.
1 Cor 2:14-16 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. 16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. KJV
Rom 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. KJV
Rom 8:5-11 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. KJV
God desires our presence. He desired to walk and talk with Adam and Eve. Our supernatural times with Him will only come with closet time. Others cannot bring us to that quiet special place. We must choose Him, take time for Him, putting aside every other distraction in our lives. It is in the secret place that He comes to enjoy our company and bless us.
Ps 91:1-2 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. KJV
Ps 51:11-13 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. 12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. 13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee. KJV
Heb 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. KJV
We have the power to become Remnant, or to remain Rebellious. We have the mind of Christ or the mind of the world with the father of lies.
If we are not with our supernatural God it is not HIS choice. It was not His choice in the garden. He calls out to us to draw near to Him.
Jer 29:13-14 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. 14 And I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the LORD; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive. KJV
