1-8 The Remnant – are prayed for Spokesman

Jesus spoke these words:

(Jn. 17:20) Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their WORD.

Someone once said, The Gospel is not Gospel until it is shared. How can anyone know Jesus if no one speaks of Him. Indeed, the  Word tells us that the feet of those who share the Gospel are blessed. The Remnant  are called, are receptive to hearing God’s Word, and are on fire to share that Word with the lost. The love of God compels them to reach the least of the least with His message of redemption.

Rom 10:13-15 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. 14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? 15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! KJV

The Remnant are new creatures with a mandate, a purpose, with joy and desire to share what has been freely given to them.

Matt 10:5-8 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, …… preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. 8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. KJV

Sometimes we feel inadequate, indeed, we are inadequate because we dwell in fallen flesh. Indeed, we are never perfect enough, never good enough. But He loves and sends our broken vessels out into this world to do what He needs done, at whatever place in our growth we are at. Some of the most on fire, lacking in knowledge, new Remnant members, bring in the most new converts into the family of God. Their zeal is sometimes way outside the perimeters of the normal Christian walk but they are sincere, they are excited, and people can respond to that honesty. We must never limit them from speaking about Jesus but we must be there to disciple and love them and walk beside them, just as Jesus did His disciples.

2 Cor 5:17-20 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. KJV

The Gospel must not be hid. It must be SPOKEN and we are the SPOKESMAN for salvation in the name of Jesus. He is the redeemer, we are only messengers. He came and loved us so much as to give His life for us. Freely He gave, and gives. As His Remnant, we have a mandate to be true Ambassadors of His message and His love in this world we live in. It is severely broken. It will respond many times with anger, violence, cursing, and many more things, yet, there is a remnant waiting to hear that will respond, will catch the fire, and spread it with us to their families and friends. We cannot delay. The fields are white to the harvest. If we are silent, the rocks will cry out and we will be left behind and lose the many wonderful blessings God has for those who love Him and live for His purposes.

Luke 19:37-40 And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen; 38 Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest. 39 And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples. 40 And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.KJV

We are called to HARVEST. I find it interesting that He uses the word harvest in the book of  John, Chaper 4.  He has come, He has given the Word. We are to harvest HIS CROP.

John 4:34-35 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work. 35 Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest ? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. KJV

No man comes to the Father unless he is drawn, but, no man comes to the Father unless that man chooses to draw near to God. There is an invitation to ALL men Jesus came that ALL might be saved. The Word tells us that He came to draw ALL men unto Him.

John 6:43-44 Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves. 44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. KJV

John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. KJV

James 4:8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.  KJV

John 12:30-32 Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes… ..32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. KJV

Note: We will have the message about the third weapon next week. This message was given to me tonight. Didn’t mean to jump around but there is always a reason when the Lord switches things around. Be blessed.
